Get a kick out of climbing the highest mountain in Northern Africa.
At 4,167m, Mount Toubkal (4167m) is the highest mountain in North Africa. The hike to the summit is challenging, but it requires no mountaineering experience and the panoramic view from he summit makes the hard work worthwhile.
With the start of the trek just a couple of hours drive from Marrakech, you can reach the summit and back within 2 days and still have time to explore Morocco’s most captivating city, Marrakech.
You will be picked up from your Riad or Hotel in Marrakechat 08 :00 am to Imlil(1740m) which is a berber village located about 65 KM from Marrakech , where you gonna start our trek. You will meet the muleters and an official and experienced mountain guide he will walk you through the berber villages via the shrineSidi Chamharouch(2500m) to reach the mountain here you will stop for lunch ,after enjoying your lunch and having a short break , we will continue towards the refuge (3207m), a glass of mint tea will be served for you there . after you can have a shower to wash your body and freshen up for the next day . i the evening a traditional Moroccan meal will be served to you for dinner. In addition to during summer months instide of spending your night in the refuge there is an option to spend it in the tent.

The second day you will start with an early wake up. You will have breakfast around 05 :00 am, you will strat walking up at 05 :30am . in the middle of your climb you will stop for a short break with some refreshments oranges,water,nuts. After 3 hours of walking, you will be able to enjoy an amazing view of all the high Atlas Mountains ,valleys and Berber villages from the summit. Afterwards you gonna return back to the Refuge, where the lunch will be awaiting for you. After lunch you will follow the same path down the hill to Imlil. Then you will be taken back to Marrakech.
